A waterspout over Lake Erie transformed into an EF1 tornado in Buffalo, causing damage but no serious injuries. The tornado had maximum winds of 90 mph and was on the ground for 1.4 miles, affecting buildings and trees. This event follows a previous severe weather incident in July that also produced multiple tornadoes in the region.
