When is the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby? How to watch on TV, streaming
2024 MLB All-Star break will feature a revamped Home Run Derby format with top players competing at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The event will have timed rounds with a maximum of 40 pitches per hitter, aiming to reduce the frenetic pace of previous competitions. Bonus time rules have changed to allow unlimited home runs until a hitter makes three outs, with the possibility of earning a fourth out by hitting a 425-feet home run. The top four scores from the first round will advance, and the championship round will have two minutes per hitter. Notable participants include Marcell Ozuna, Jose Ramirez, Teoscar Hernandez, Pete Alonso, Adolis Garcia, and Bobby Witt Jr.
