Category: Weather

The National Weather Service recorded trace amounts of snow at Philadelphia International Airport in the middle of a heatwave in July. Thunderstorms produced small hail, which was considered as a trace of snow. The snow broke a record set in 1870. Despite the unusual weather, flights were not significantly affected.
