Luzon folk flee as Carina triggers floods, landslides

Typhoon Carina has caused heavy rainfall and flooding across northern and central Luzon, displacing hundreds of residents. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported multiple fatalities in Mindanao due to related incidents. Evacuations have occurred in various provinces, with significant flooding reported in Cagayan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Zambales. Landslides have also affected Baguio, and classes have been suspended in several areas. The typhoon continues to pose risks with maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h.
