Nuclear-powered submarine steams north in surface position
The nuclear-powered submarine Tambov, along with the destroyer Admiral Levchenko and landing vessel Ivan Green, unexpectedly left the Baltic Sea and is now in Skagerrak, south of Norway. The Tambov was seen sailing on the surface, which is unusual for submarines, possibly due to crew limitations. The reason for the sudden change in plans, including not participating in the Main Naval Parade in St. Petersburg, remains unclear. The vessels are expected to head towards the Kola Peninsula in the coming days.
