Former PBS and CNN anchor Aaron Brown dies at 76

Aaron Brown, a veteran television news anchor known for his coverage of the Sept. 11 attacks, has died at the age of 76. He began his career in radio and transitioned to television, becoming the founding anchor of ABC’s 'World News Now' and later anchoring at CNN. His impactful reporting during the 9/11 attacks earned him the Edward R. Murrow Award and three Emmy awards. After leaving CNN, he taught journalism at Arizona State University and returned to television on PBS.
