Two Top Mexican Cartel Leaders Surrender to U.S. Authorities
Two leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel, Ismael Zambada García and Joaquín Guzmán López, have surrendered to U.S. law enforcement and are in custody in El Paso, Texas. Zambada García, known as 'El Mayo,' has been a target of the U.S. government for years, while his ally, El Chapo, is serving a life sentence after being convicted in 2019.
