The storm is expected to weaken but will continue to produce significant rain and potential tornadoes as it moves inland. Areas affected include southeastern North Carolina, eastern South Carolina, and parts of Virginia, with storm totals reaching up to 25 inches in some locations. The storm has already caused major flooding and power outages across the region.
