Rayful Edmond III, a notorious drug dealer from D.C. during the 1980s crack cocaine crisis, has died in federal custody at the age of 60. He oversaw a significant drug network linked to numerous murders and was serving a life sentence for drug distribution. Despite his incarceration, he continued to manage drug operations from prison.
